This place was, clean, updated and the staff was Amazing. The ladies running the bar where incredible, as for the food also delicious. Try the pizza it's great! The only down side was the chlorine fumes in the pool area needs more ventilation.
Everything was as advertised. We had a good time , weather was not cooperating for much time on the trails for snowmobiling but glad to relax in hot tub . I will say there was no open cantina in pool area on Sat, and not enough staff Sat to accommodate the Pub audience. I will be back next year.
We stayed in a Two Queen Suite Room on the 3rd floor. Beautiful room with vaulted ceilings! Very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was fine, but no hot food. Did not use the pool area but it looked like a nice hot tub and water slide for kids. Will definitely stay here again!
I've had the chance to stay at The Waters of Minocqua numerous times. The hotel, staff, amenities, and location are head and shoulders above any other place to stay in the North Woods. Whether you are coming as a large family, a couple, friends, or a single guest you won't be sorry planning your stay there. Their manager Brian does a great job running The Waters and is always concerned that your stay is the best experience it can be. Spring, Summer, Winter, or Fall plan a stay at the Waters. You won't regret it. Plenty of snow now. What are you waiting for?
We are very lucky to have this place close to home! We celebrated my granddaughters 10th birthday here along with an overnight stay! All her little friends had a blast on the slides and indoor/outdoor pool area. If that wasn’t enough, the game room kept them entertained until some girls got picked up and the rest slept in a comfortable 2 queen bed suite with a private terrace. Ray, at the front desk was so personable and made the booking/party go smoothly. Thank you!! We will be back!
We stayed at The Waters over Thanksgiving weekend for our family Christmas / Thanksgiving celebration. They were very accommodating and did EVERYTHING to make our stay absolutely perfect. We will be meeting there again.
A very nice, clean room. There was a lot of noise from the hall, even at 10pm. Very nice breakfast with someone paying close attention to keeping it stocked and orderly. Difficult to get into the building which required walking through a substantial puddle or else climbing over snow. Reported this on the first day. Nothing was done until two days later when the water had finally been drained off. TV remote did not work and the instruction card in the room was for a different remote. Talking to a lady at the front desk did not really resolve the problem.
Good room but odd small bathrooms. Some of the service was great but there were some things that could be improved. Hopefully when the renovations are done it will be better. The pools are so nice and warm especially the toddler pool and that made it worth every penny. Not to mention the outdoor hot tub we will be back
